Website Question

I'm responsible for making sure my high school alumni association website gets up and running.

We have secured the domain from GoDaddy but someone suggested we actually host the site on Wordpress. Does anyone have any experience doing something like this?

get the name servers from the wordpress site and then point the domain name at those name servers. takes about 72 hours to make it through all the tubes.

that's about the easiest way. its not difficult as when you go into your site control panel you'll see the name server ips for wordpress. just take those and paste them into the nameserver fields at godaddy.
