March 11, 2008 -- A new chapter in the legendary career of multi-Platinum rockers JOURNEY--Neal Schon (guitar), Jonathan Cain (keyboards), Ross Valory (bass), Deen Castronovo (drums) and Arnel Pineda (vocals)—will begin on June 3 with the highly anticipated release of REVELATION, a three-disc CD and DVD package to be sold exclusively at Wal-Mart stores in North America.

The first disc will consist of 11 re-recorded classics, the second is filled with 11 new songs, and the third is a live, in-concert DVD. All of the music on REVELATION was produced by Kevin Shirley (who previously worked with JOURNEY on their Platinum-certified TRIAL BY FIRE album).
JOURNEY will take REVELATION on the U.S. concert trail later this July, with details to be announced in the coming weeks.

I can't get excited about Journey sans Steve Perry. I just can't. I'm sorry.

How long 'til Neal sticks a knife in this singer's back, too? I wouldn't mind hearing the new stuff, but to get it I have to pay for that plus a CD and DVD of the new new new guy butchering the classics. No thanks.

I could get excited about a version of Journey sans Steve Perry, if only it also included Jonathan Cain's decapitated head on a pike as a part of the stage dressing, and even more excited if it featured the return of Gregg Rolie.

Hey...in the King's defense, Blake did come up with a few good plays from that Twister mat. I just can't think of any at this time ;)

Arnel Pineda is a pretty dece singer. Check out some of his stuff on teh Youtubes. He's not exactly Steve Perry, but I'll give it a chance.

I can't wait to hear him with high quality audio. All I've heard is the youtube carp.

Clearly, this thread started as a Glastnos thread and should remain so.

Post-Perry Journey lovers are teh ghey.

Oh, and teh ghey is also pretty much everyone else.

And 38 Special pretty much was left in charge when all of the dead guys in Skynard died.

Well, him and ZZ top.
