Picked up some of these bad boys for the patio garden last night...

some lobelia and coleus on the outside of the large urns, these in the middle...

Just bring on that "yard of the neighborhood" award!

Looks like a ginger blossom. (never mind those close minded hillbillies)

Brazilian fireworks. Heat tolerant although requires shade.

No garden gnomes.

That pic reminds me of those gaggles of old ladies who go around dressed up in red dresses and purple hats. All my friends are under orders to shoot me on sight if I ever join any social organization based on being old and wearing some God-awful ugly hat. Ick.

And gardening threads remind me of my old boss, who we suspect was involved in just such an organization.
