Well he has a 2 year record of 39-26(so far) which trails only Calvin 40-22(23-9,17-13) for wins among OU caoches in their first two seasons. He is also the ONLY OU coach to win an NCAA tourney game in his first 2 years( KIS went 0-2).For those who are curious or don't recall Tubbs was 31-29 in his first two seasons(9-18,22-11).His second team made the NIT Final Four

.I use these 2 coaches as a benchmark for comparison because they are the TOP 2 coaches in OU history.Tubbs has the most wins (333) and is second in % and KS is #2 in wins(279) and #1 in %.They are also 1-2 in NCAA winsTubbs was 15-9,KS 11-11So obviously Capel is off to an outstanding start.

Capel's been great, but I'm not ready to abandon my Christian faith and worship him as Godd. ;)

Very good, if he can keep Blake one more year then I say really good! The benefits of Blake coming back are more than us being a top 15 team next year, it also allows for guys like Wright, Allen, and Taylor to practice and play with him one more year so they will be better prepared when he leaves.
