I'm no fan, but he's actually a decent musician. His playing is far better than his songwriting, though.

The biggest problem with him, having been dragged to one of his live shows, is the teenage girls who follow him everywhere. It was like being at a Beatles show circa '64. At times you could barely hear the band for all of the shrieking.
