Just kidding. I bought a new one at the dealer. In the past, any place I bought a battery wanted to old one in return. These guys never asked for the discharged battery. Is there any value to the battery, or should I just run it back to the dealer so they can dispose of it?

I used to work at O'reillys, and we always took used car batteries, no matter if they were bought from us or not.
Recycle it.
