This is a pole. Vote and get your Casino cash, not vcash as I previously stated, and your usual treat (for comments). This will not be an exhaustive list, so write-ins are encouraged.
Sorry this will not be alphabetical.

And to clarify-the mother is supposed to be "YOUR" mother.

Where is this Chicken Express so that I might try it?

I didn't know Oklahoma had Chicken Express'.

I have never ever seen one in OK.

NO, I take that back...I think there's one in Durant now just off of 69 (the side that Wal-Mart is on). I took note of it last time I drove home and thought it odd that Durant had a Chicken Express.

Chicken express? Only if you like it bland.

Chicken Express tenders with serendippity spice on it, is FAR from bland.

There is one off of east lindsay by the bowling alley, one in duncan, and one in wichita falls right where you turn to go to Abilene.

Must've added that since the last time I went there. Which is, admittedly, years ago.

I can't remember having a good CFS in Tulsa since most of the Mom and Pop places are gone.

The worst I've had in recent memory was at Charleston's on Peoria.

The gravy and steak had so much pepper in it, you couldn't taste your food.

My Dad got one and the mashed potatos came with huge lumps of unmashed taters in them.

Worst I've had ever.

Sent it back to the kitchen...I didn't eat anything except the side salad I had before getting the worst CFS I've ever had.

It's the only bad meal I've had there...but it was so bad I'm probably not going back for awhile.

Ann's Chicken Fry has a good CFS, as does Red Rock.

Not to jack this thread, but I am wondering what everyone thinks is the best non-chain Buffet Restaurant in Oklahoma.

Perhaps an idea for another pole. :O

That used to be a treat to go there with the whole fam damily of cousins and aunts and uncles grandparents and all.

Another place whose fired chicken was killer diller was the J&R Ranch on NW 10th and about Ann Arbor. Thier honey-butter biscuits were awesome, too.

My favorite was Grandma's though, or that of her brother, my Uncle Walter; they both did it the same way.
With mashed taters, biscuits and gravy on the side and fresh strawberry shortcake from scratch with real whipped cream for dessert, it's what they eat in Heaven. :)

If anyone from Tulsa remembers Rex's Chicken...that place had the best boneless chicken I have ever had before, during, or since. They reopened as a take-out only place called King Chicken for about a year in 2004-2005 before closing again.

That family's chicken was godly.

We used to have 2 Rex's in Mac...Loved the bread

Pete's, Giacomo's, Roseanna's, Isle of Capri all do good chicken

Chicken Express in Durant is good but their sweet tea is what keeps me coming back

Ding, ding, we have a winner.

Also, if you want fancy, high-priced chicken fry, try Cheever's in OKC with garlic mashed potatoes.

I love Cheever's, but I'm not crazy about their chicken fry.

The broasted chicken that you can find at many of those small pizza places owned by people who may or may not be legal citizens (and whose pizza sucks, ironically), is actually pretty decent, at least on the level of Eischen's.

Ballards drive inn - Just off I-35 on the access road in Pauls Valley has Rex chicken and ......MEX REX with a little Jalapeno taste. Excellent!

My parent's owned 2 Dairy Queens in Tulsa back in the day and served Rex chicken. It was great, but I thought wer were talking about real fried chicken not chicken nuggets. I didn't know chickens had nuggets.
