You know, Mr. Callahan, in order to be hillbillies there has to be hills
;)
I wish I could go. Driving through Bama for the football game a few years ago was like a scene out of some of the old timie movies and musicals.

You didn't happen to hear the banjos did you? ;)

I am starting a new job next Monday, and my last day at my current job is this Wednesday - therefore I have all day Friday to do nothing. I am considering getting a couple of tickets and spending the whole day at the BJCC watching the tourney.

How easy will it to get tickets there? Should I get them ahead of time. I want to take my father in law.

Last I heard there was still plenty of tickets available, though that was before the field was even announced...

As of yesterday, the Birmingham News was reporting less than 2,000 tickets remain...Not sure how good that is since I am not sure how many the BJCC holds...

Oh, and for anyone making the trip - don't be surprised when you get here and you see nothing mentioning the tourney...I am surprised at the lack of advertising for this around the Birmingham area...
