In my bet-room, I have a brass....watuh....bed.

Seriously, I'll bet he still puts on a great show. I wonder what he looks like 15 years after Purple Rain?

Wouldn't it be cool if His Purple Highness made a surprise guest appearance?

Fifteen years since "Purple Rain"? Better check that math, Homey. :D I bet he looks fine though regardless. Like Oprah says, "black don't crack."

Hell...I'd even go see him...but I'm in Washington...

On a related note, has anyone seen Purple Reign, the Prince tribute band, in Vegas? I heard they're awesome and was thinking about going to see em in Vegas in two weeks with the Mrs.

whatever. what's a decade between friends.

I'll tell ya what though. You're right. Now that you mention it, black folks don't seem to wrinkle as bad or as soon as palefaces do. Unfortunately, they generally don't live as long either. Thus, better looking corpses.:D

I saw him in 1989 in New Orleans at a concert hall on Canal Street. I was one of about 30 Caucasians in the entire crowd. Great times. We then went over to Tipitina's and saw Jimmy Buffett appearing under an assumed name.
