Back from this trip, and I still didn't have a good camera but I managed to capture a few pics on my cell phone.

Grand Rapids, Ohio

Here is the olevet toy truck

This is the Maumee River that runs just outside of town virtually across the street from the store I was at.

Findlay, Ohio

Here are 3 houses and the Courthouse on Main Street. Sorry about the bad time of day on the Courthouse. In the window of the first house which tried to be obscured by trees is a model house similar to another house that was actually about half a block away on the opposite side of the street.

After a long time in Findlay I had to go enjoy a cold one. And being the snob that I am....only Newcastle can wet the whistle. At least the bartender knew how to manage the foam. :)

Paulding, OH

Small town, had lunch in a place called Bubba J's Buckeye Cafe. Place was full of Ohio State memorabilia, and one of my coworkers that has a kid at Ohio State mentioned that the 3 women with us were all fans of "That School Up North, so you can give them hell about it". They weren't allowed to even say Michigan which amused me. I merely asked as we were finishing why there wasn't a picture of Uwe next to their pic of Mike Nugent. The old guys in the place playing Gin looked up to glare at me about that one. :)

However, the best pic of this set came from Paulding. This memorial is in front of the courthouse which is built in a town square kind of style.

Only a few weeks until I'm getting sent to Milwaukee....so every time I hate the beer, I'm already blaming Badger :D
