i'll be installing some mods later that will show who's online for holdem, a leaderboard, and hopefully (if it exists) something that will allow a real life honest to goodness hold em tourney.

the swedish chef has made his appearance, i was going to save it for april fools, but i'll probably just make all of froze's posts encheferized on that day.

i'm working on installing an arcade filled with more time wasters. it would be installed already if it wasn't so frickin sucktastically coded. anyway, there are quite a few games out there (i think beano's head exploded when he saw how many). i'll start off with stuff like tetris, asteroids, chess, centipede, probably add in darts, 1941, guantlet, baseball, billiards, contra, duck hunt, the ou4life hole in one challenge, joust, undead assault, wordsearches. jed has specifically demanded that ms. pacman be added (yes, it scared me too).

It is, I believe. Once you put in your ten, that's sunk, so winning 30 is a net profit of 20.

JKM, FYI on the blackjack, the way it reflects stats is weird. Not that I'm griping, 'cause it shows me as more successful than I am. But I have, overall, been losing my ***. I have lost around $7,000 overall, but it shows me as having $10,000+ profit.

If it is accounting for the actual amount of winning hands, it should also show me as the top loser on the board, in addition to being the top winner. If I've won $10,000 worth of hands, I've also lost $17,000. It also shows with 120% income in wins, yet I should be below 100% considerably.

Again, not complaining, but thought you might want to know that the math is goofy.

i contacted a couple of companies with multiplayer flash versions of hold em and spades. as long as it isn't too many bones or technically going to be a problem, i'll get them installed. they both allow tourneys, lobbies, etc.

i've got it set to only take your best score, so sometimes its going to get stuck thinking a score is your highest. i did it this way to only have to prune scores that are 90 days old. the way to fix this is just let me know and i'll remove it so you have a clean slate.

as an alternative, i can set it to capture all of your scores, but i'll have to set it up to prune scores after 30 days. maybe frank can set up a pole to see which way you guys want to go.

i've looked into the issue way more hours than well i'd like too. that particular mahjong game isn't fully compatible with the latest version of the arcade. depending upon a host of reasons -> browser, security settings, how you handle cookies --> it just isn't going to work for reporting scores. unfortunately, that is also the only true mahjong game i could find that was score enabled for the arcade. so my choices here are limited

turn off scoring for mahjong totally
remove it from the arcade
leave it as is
