You know, I'd like to believe that given the opportunity to nail a hot brunette that's about 3 notches above your level with the relative certainty that you wouldn't be caught (because if there's one thing about Spitzer that's true, it's that he really really thinks he's THAT much smarter than everyone else) that everyone would resist the temptation.

Pfft. The money's relative. If I had the kind of money Spitzer has, I wouldn't think twice about taking that girl out a few times on dates that would cost about that for non-guaranteed nookie.

Mike Rich does not actually have Spitzer money, so his comments should be taken with a grain of salt. But I imagine that a couple of hundred to me probably hurts more than $4500 to him.

Anderson Cooper had a guy who got busted running one of the escort services in Manhattan and he ended up doing 2 years on Ryker Island. The guy said she was a "Hometown Girl" type with fake boobs and that she would be in the $1,000 range. I think the reason it got to $4000+ was because he wasn't going to meet her in NY. He was making a special request and they were gonna charge him for it.

The girls Mom was quoted as she was way in over her head.

If she was a pro...it doesn't seem like she had been around for very long.

I'm sure we'll hear more in the days to come.

The media have staked out her apt. in NY. I imagine she's gonna have to try and sneakout eventually.

I've been wondering about those photos...

The AP/Reuters is reporting that they "obtained" them from a MySpace page. They're redistributing them.

I find myself wondering: Uh, what are they going to do when the copyright holder comes calling? It's one thing for Joe Blow on a message board to post them, but the AP and Reuters have deep pockets.

Odds are, if they have to answer to anyone, it'll be News Corp. Anything you post on MySpace becomes the property of News Corp/Fox. At least, that's what they said when they first bought the site from that Tom *******...

how many of you think she: 1 - knew who eliott spitzer really was; or 2 - really gave 2 sh*ts if the governor of NY was screwing around on his wife; or 3 - was thinking about anything other than the $4K she was going to get for 15 minutes of real work.

the unfortunate thing is this girl is going to get "crucified" by the press for no reason other than being hawt and trying to pay the bills (possibly for a kick *** mercedes). something is telling me that someone is going to try to spin this so that spitzer is made to look like the victim. only victim(s) in this are spitzer's wife and kids.

btw, the today show showed some more pictures of her. let's just say if i needed a nice arm decoration for an evening (if i weren't married), she'd do just fine. totally do-able and HAWT!!!

First of all I don't think she's that hot. I see hotter on any random trip to Sooner Fashion Mall or Target for that matter. There are hotter chicks waiting tables at Marie Callendar's, for crying out loud. But as Mike said: for a wealthy dude who thinks he can get away with it, 4.5k to hit something young and out of his league is a good deal (I guess).

And inconsequetially, when she's Mrs. Spitzer's age she won't look anywhere near as good as Mrs. Spitzer does.

Whether she's worth the money or not is irrelevant. I mean, the pool of women out there who will take their clothes of and screw for money is deep and wide.

So do it as a manner of business - street prostitutes, strippers, "escorts", etc. Others simply play the chase - "gold digggers." Either way, it's the same game, just played at different levels. She's just one more out there.

Oh, it will be spun to make him the victim, but not at the hooker's detriment. His next move will be to claim a sex addiction.

I wouldn't say it is "unfortunate" that this girl is going to get run through the wringer. When she took the job, she probably had a pretty good idea that there were a handful of bad things that could happen to her as a result. This one will be unexpected, but still, it's not like she didn't know there was a risk.
