2 take home pregnancy tests say we are pregnant! I just turned 31, she will be 28 in June. We have been married for 5.5 years so we decided about a year ago it was time to start a family. I wouldn't say we have been trying real hard since she started cosmotology school earlier this year, but we both knew it would happen once she started school. We are both cautiously excited! If this is a false alarm or not...I am ready to be a daddy. :D

I heard you cant have a false positive? I dont know for sure. Read or heard somewhere that you can have a false negative, but if it shows positive, you are positive. Congrats!

Yup, that's exactly what I was going to add. It can miss trace amounts of the preggo hormone, (for instance if the test is taken too early) but it can't detect it if it's not there.

The wife and I are going to the doctor tomorrow for another appointment. She's approximately 16 weeks along so we should find out if we having a boy or girl at the next appointment. It's pretty exciting stuff. Tomorrow we are supposed to be able to hear the heart beat so that should be the awesome.

IT'S A GIRL!!!!!!!! Due date is November 17.....right in the middle of football season.

Awesome. My son was born 11-8-00. We were driving home from the hospital during the aTm game. Got to watch the second half with my newborn baby boy in my arms while mama got to sleep. It was the hardest day I've ever had to try and be quiet!!:D Good times!



Now, he's 7 and we watch every game together!!

Mine are 7 & 3 (almost 4). I agree with JM. I still wouldn't trade them for anything.

Congrats and soak up every moment - even changing the poopie diapers - look at it as just one more thing that's helping them along.

My daughter is 8 - when I was there in May we were wrestling - she says "Let me go or suffer the consequences!"

They grow up fast.
