So my daughter is telling me about this place here in Oklahoma on Route 66 that has all these different kinds of pops.

I know I've heard of this here in the board.

Anyone know where it is?

I did a search but I'm not sure if it's the right place...

Cool....

I remember folks talking about it about a year ago and that they were spending some bucks making it a really cool place.

Thanks

We love Pops. We try to take the girls there once a month or so as a treat. Often, we'll head that way when we're on our way to see family.

No kidding? They also sell the Dublin DP bottles but they're 8ozs and almost 2 bucks. I'd still rather drink it than the HFCS stuff

5 miles east of I-35 on Edmond Road/Route 66.

We went there for dinner at the end of February when we were up there visiting family. The other night my wife said we should have bought a six-pack/case of different Root Beers they have. There is a cooler and a half of different Root Beers.

They never have Dr. Thunder or Mountain Lightning!

Bur really...they are always out of Moxie and I have always wanted to try it and I never get a chance!

Jimminy Crimson
3/9/2008, 11:37 PM
Dr Thunder and Mountain Lightning are Sam's brands, aren't they? :chicken:

As for Moxie, request it next time you go and get some Dublin Dr. Pepper from the fountain. I've seen it there before, but they go through so much <errrr> pop that you never know what you're going to get. [/Forrest]

The real question is do they have Cockta, Slovenia's answer to Coca-Cola? Lets just say they got the name right.

Exactly. I haven't had a bad meal there. Just one slow one right when they opened, but that's expected.

Does QT have a huge cantilevered roof over the fueling area that is an architectural wonder of sorts, with the bases sunk 30' into the ground to support it?

ok, maybe i'm the only one who gets excited about that part.

I wasn't impressed by the food.

But I did love the Dublin DP from the fountain.

They also had Blvd. Brewery Wheat Beer in the fridge.

Cool. I think I was there around noon.

I saw a dude wearing an OU shirt and a visor and I thought he looked like bri. I was tempted to ask him "Is your name Brian"? But I thought better and didn't want to look like a dumbass.

I happen to know Bri was in Tulsa yesterday, preparing to get his party funk on. Thus, you made the right call.

I've always thought that we need a SF code word or hand gesture or something so that we can identify each other out in the real world.

3/16/2008, 04:38 PM
We have one.

You ask them "Is that your Yukon in the parking lot?"

The countersign is "Yeah, cost me $43,000. I wrote a check."

BigRedJed

The guy you saw is probably the same guy I saw at the Blue Note a few weeks ago. It was creepyweird how much he looked like bri. To the point where I asked if I could take a picture of him to post here or to send to bri. But when I got the picture, it didn't capture the lookalike quality, and I felt odd enough asking him for his picture in the first place, and didn't want to ask again.

WHO'S CREEPYWEIRD NOW, BITCHES??!?!?
