Actually, I think they were a 12 seed during that Elite 8 run. They were lucky to get that far before having their hopes and dreams crushed.

I think there is a VERY, VERY slim chance we could fall out. Very slim, but possible:

--Lose Today
--Have either Baylor OR A+M win, dropping us to the #5 seed (or if they both win, we drop to $6)
--Lose in the 1st round to Colorado or ISU

If we lose today and STILL get the #4 seed, then we're in no matter what. But if we lose and have to play in the play-in game AND lose that game, I think we might be a bit on the bubble.

Losses to Mizzou/ISU or CU back-to-back would probably drop us well into the 40's in the RPI and the committe may frown on that kind of a finish.

Slim, but maybe not a lock quite yet.

I don't know how to feel right now. Mizzou pretty much outplayed us the entire first half - rebounding, forcing turnovers, shooting 50%. And yet, as bad as we looked, we're only down two. If we can start holding them to one shot on defense and establish more consistent scoring, we should be fine.

Great game by the players and coaches. Lots of adversity in the latter half of this season but they have overcome.

Godbold played one of his best games ever today. Many timely plays were made on his part.

LL gave it his usual grit and was solid late. Playing with pain.

Crocker was hot early, AJ was great late. Blake also battled pain and produced. Like Fran calling him the Bionic Man. Good stuff.

The one thing I think hasn't changed from the Sampson Days is...it continues to be painful to watch our team play. We haven't had a Superstar Player in a long time. We continue to have solid teams...just not one that has 1 or 2 next level players on it.

I'm going to try and watch every Tourney Game we play and will be cheering us on.

Hopefully we'll keep everyone healthy and win the whole enchilada.

I dont think BG would have had a shot at POY because of Beasley and Augustin, but he should be 1st team all conf although I doubt he gets it
