And the speaker is all, well, if you prepare TiO2-MoO3 nanocomposite photocatalyts with the supercritical fluid-dry method, you can expect that the small amount of Mo in the composite catalyst to red shift its absorbance wavelength, decrease the energy gap and and increase the utility of visible light. You can also expect higher surface acidity of the photo catalyst.

I was all "No ****, Sherlock."

I mean, well, duh.

There's an Ike joke here somewhere, but I'm not gonna look that hard for it. :D

I followed all of that, but tripped when you mentioned acidity...

wow...what a lame joke...

I think she said Mo was slow.

doesn't the borg use nanotechnology?

Is this just right before the nanobots turn the world into just goo?

I still think Ike's experiment that eats up the world in a black hole still trumps that.

Hey now, you'd lose a step too if you were carrying a bunch of guns everywhere.

Pffft. I think you've confused an elementary school science lecture with a nanotechnology conference.

This book was for sale, so I picked one up for Czar. I'm so tired of explaining charge distribution of Li ions. Hell, doesn't everyone understand that a storage state in which a double Li ion layer is formed is preferable to achieve a larger capacity than the theoretical maximum capacity of graphitic carbons (372 mAh/g) and to reduce hysteresis in the charge–discharge process?

Gah.

So how close are we?

He just likes teh dead hookers because they don't bedowngrade his theoretical atomistics skillz.

Dude, you gotta think outside the box. Once we get the nanobots up and running, they can reanimate the dead hookers!

You couldn't just create girl nanobots?

What fun would that be? It would be like they weren't dead anymore.

You're not following me. You get to kill them over and over again! And you only have to pay once. This is your textbook win-win situation, people.

Were you looking for the "nanny technology" conference and just walked into the wrong place?

Viking Kitten

Nah. I was just thinking there might be a hospitality suite. I'll let some sci-fi nerd chew my ear off for free beer. I'm not ashamed.

fixed because you need a variety and variety is the spice of life in the stash of dead prostitutes.

I must have missed something, what do red x's have to do with nanotechnology.

Viking Kitten
3/9/2008, 10:30 PM
It's so simple, do you need a refresher course? It's all red x's nowadays.

And ball bearings.

Teeny, tiny ball bearings.
