Bern Switzerland

I got a call from my daughter from there yesterday she's visiting a friend for the next two weeks. It looks pretty nice. Anybody ever been there?

Been to Geneva and Montreux, in the French-speaking part. Bern is in the German-speaking part. I truly believe Switzerland may be the most awesome place on the planet.

I"ve been to the Zurich Airport..they spoke German at me and I didn't understand.

The wife and I would love to go someday. This is her second time over there in the last 3 years. Her best friend's family live in Zurich, her friend lives in Bern about 100 miles away.

She called about 11:25 A.M. today, (8:25 P.M. theirs) and told me they went sledding down the Alps this morning and visited a castle. I told her it may snow a little here today. :( :)

I've been to Bern, but only briefly. I gave my presentation and then took the train to Zurich for the next meeting.

I didn't even take pictures.

Haven't gone, but it won't be long before I'll likely be living there for a while...Switzerland that is...not Bern though.
