What I usually do is just put one of these up to the speaker.

It's very important that you hit "record" and "play" at the same time. Also don't talk.

You can put about eight songs on one side, then flip it over and you can record eight more!

Now all your music files will be in convenient place. YWIA!

Download the freeware Advanced Sound Recorder. It records what ever comes out of your speakers.

That's how I got my "I Drink Your Milkshake!" ringtone. :D

ok, i tested it but the recording is skipping weird... is the bitrate set wrong possibly? it's set for 224 bps

Mine works fine at 256 kbps, mono, and 44100 sampling rate
