I have a friend who's been having trouble at work, we'll call him Charles. Charles is having a meeting with his boss and his boss's boss on Monday and he was thinking about sneaking in a mini-recorder with him. If sh*t were to hit the fan and Charles gets canned, would he have to have told everyone in the meeting about the tape recorder in order to submit it as evidence in court in Oklahoma?

TIA, from Charles, of course! :D

Well, OK, to be fair, I don't know anything about the Oklahoma statutes and decisions.

However, in a criminal case, informants wearing wires would never hold up if everyone had to know they were being recorded. Civil cases typically have a much lower standard of evidence.

I think you're worried about wire-taps and such-I know that in Alaska, only one party has to be aware of a wire-tap for it to be legal without a warrant.
