what can you do?

sit around and wait.

of course you don't know it's "after 5" until you miss the initial delivery ("after 5") and they tell you on the "we tried to deliver!" sticker on yo door.

this will be a thread with no responses, as it should be.

i just don't get it.

why not say "it's after 5" on the tracking info....so, you aren't sitting around from 1-5 on Friday hoping for a delivery. DSL and FEd EX seem to do this.

the UPS notice i have says "2nd scheduled delivery" with a box checked "after 5".

yeah, more or less. i'm not sure what the other option is. i had DSL leave about a 300$ package wedged in my screen door a few months ago which was a little sketchy. i just find it hard to believe they can't give me better info than "after 5" after no accurate info at all the first delivery after which they act like it's "on me" the first delivery didn't happen. they tried.

anyway: got my new toy with a stick of RAM:

yeah, that's what i was saying. had that happen to me too. i relaize the drivers don't need crazy people following them around, but given GPS tech and contact info these days why "after 5" is the best they can do. and if so. tell you the FIRST TIME!
