While here in Seattle I've been renting various makes and models of fine GM products (G6: meh; Ion: boo; G5: a'ight) and my latest (the G5) has an XM radio. While flipping back and forth between terrestial stations and the XM ones (41 - The Boneyard being my favorite XM - Played Triumph and Zebra consecutively the first time I tuned in. :D ) I noticed a big difference in the sound quality - XM was worse. I had plenty of thumping bass and sparkly treble from the terrestial stations; the XM ones made it sound like someone switched all the speakers to Bose.
Anyone else notice this? Or is it a problem with the individual stereo?
