You people are terrible, be-downgrading something just because it is totally lame. How would you like it if people picked on your favorite show that was doing all the right things? You would know, if you were a writer, A Screen Writer!

You people make me want to puke![hairGel] [hairGel] [hairGel]

I hate to break the news to you, but most people that work on movie sets are family driven peeps that are not commies. I know it's easier for you to compartmentalize and stereotype, but you are sadly ignorant here.

I took a xanex bar the day before so I could have been out of it a little. But I love pTA (for Boogie Nights mainly) and was looking forward to this movie. I thought it was awfully slow.

Dan Day L performance was good but didn't seem that hard to pull off. I mean Bill Hader nailed it on SNL last night and I think I do pretty good Plainview impression. It just wasn't up my alley. I could be very wrong cause alot of people loved it.

I just wish they would make movies like they used to. You know, classics, like the Karate Kid.:D

If you want to be a productive member of society, buy movies legally.

If you want to be a complete leech who wants artists to rot in the gutter, download them.

Hey, false dichotomies are fun!

When did I say that only heroin addicts make copies of movies? I just don't think that, ethically, it's the right thing to do.

edit: And BD+ (the copy protection scheme on BD) has not been comprehensively broken as yet. Individual titles have been broken, but the last I heard there was no algorithm that would break any movie encoded with BD+.

He signed a bad contract. For you to own the product of your labor and for it to have any meaning, it has to be alienable-you have to have the right to sell it and transfer ownership.

Apparently this cat doesn't get that he sold ownership for what he considered a fair price at the time.

you know, it's like CD's... if it's in Best Buy, someone is already rich. i'm not that worried about it. you are screwing the studio, not the artist.

generally, i buy CDs and DVDs because i have the media, and don't have to wait to download it or worry about quality, etc... but downloading here and there seems to stimulate the business more than hurt it.
