That is guaranteed to be a good show

I'd go with the Wicked Tinkers first, but I'll bet the Dropkick Murphys are a fun show.

I'm debating on whether or not to start the 'my wife sucks' copycat thread...

:D

I mean, I did take her to the Tool concert and she had a miserable time...:O

I rock, since I bought a ticket for myself to their show on 3/6! :D

The show frickin rocked...the venue, not so much.

I had never been to the Congress Theater before, so I didn't know what to expect...It was interesting because the crowd didn't seem to get the hint that the show was over when the house lights came on. Because only about 3 of the house lights actually worked. They kept screaming thinking that they might get "Spicy McHaggis" for a second encore.

Still, the show rocked so much that by the time they got to 'The Gauntlet', you forgot that you were watching them play in a dump.

Hey! We were there! Where were you?

Sadly, no "Spicy McHaggis" at our show either, but rock it did.

Also, there was a confirmed Yermom sighting.

And they played a dump in OKC too BTW. The Diamond is just a big yucky craphole.

I've been to the Diamond. Compared to the Congress Theater, it's palatial.

The Diamond is underrated. Nothing about it is pretty, but if you stay inside the space between the stage and where they normally set up the mixing boards, the sound is actually quite decent. Much better than the Bricktown Events Center, probably the closest comparable local venue.

And I's there dancin' a jig, ya hear?

It's easy to dance a jig at the Diamond. That's because the bathrooms are so nasty that even after a bunch 'o beer I'd rather not pee in them.
