I'm heading to Michigan tomorrow. I'm quite excited as I have never been to Michigan before. Unfortunately, I won't get to see much of it. Hopefully Grand Rapids is nice.

It turns out there are more flights into Grand Rapids than I initially thought, so I am flying from Omaha to Mpls to Grand Rapids on Northwest. That way I only have a 30 Mile drive south on Monday morning, and 30 back for the return flight Monday afternoon.

I made it to Grand Rapids. The flying went well, and the TSA people were patient with me being clueless this morning. I think I have got rid of my air travel rust after not flying for 6.5 years. I also discovered Steak and Shake=Win, and Grand Rapids might have the friendliest service industry folks ever.

Traveling today sucked. ****ty weather the whole time, and I seemed to have picked up a stomach bug this morning. I was reminded why I hate air travel frequently today.

No, it was just for a 45 min. meeting at an ethanol plant for my current job. A lot of hassle for not a whole lot of purpose. But that's what they pay me to do.

I should mention that every time I used the bathroom in Minneapolis I consciously made a decision to use an extra narrow stance even if no one else was in the bathroom. I had no desire for any misunderstandings.
