Become wall to wall ****? Dogs are cute and do funny things, I get it. Instead of featuring animals that are interesting or deadly in nature, we get hours of either a) animal cops, or b) America's Funniest Home Videos, only lamer because instead of people getting pegged in the balls it's birds whistling silly songs. Which is funny to two groups of people: those under three and those over 90, both of which are probably more concerned with not ****ting themselves. Somehow, some way this is MTV's fault.

I blame Chuck Long.

Eric Bassey is another solid choice.

My second guess was Ty Willingham. But I think Nate Hybl had something to do with it too.

I blame the NCAA and ESPN. They ALWAYS have it in for us!

I don't remember Animal Planet being that great.

They should bring back, "Gay Week."

If you want something different just watch HGTV. You'll be running back to Animal Planet in no time.

After avidly watching discovery and animal planet for the past however many years it's been, I kind of feel like I know all that I need to know about the pit viper or black mamba or blue shark....
