Looks like Ryan Perriloux has been suspended from the team yet again. OOPS:D Couldn't happen to a better program. :)

But they've recruited & signed all the top 5 HS QBs in the USA, haven't they?

I really don't care too much about this story, but seeing it truly makes me miss college football season.
Wahhhhhhh!!!!! :(

He's too busy to go to class or attend team meetings, he's working on his transition into the Louisiana Penal System. ;)

I thought this was going to be a "look how bad the traffic is after Katrina" thread.

Perhaps Perriloux has been working at Big Purple Sports and Imports.

He is too busy working his counterfeiting organization. I believe he is still under investigations by the feds for that stuff!

Radio station I listen to out of BR 98.1 (which cover the games live) has not reported this today while I had it on. Funny WWL out of New Orleans runs the story.

The daily paper in BR has no story listed for it on main page or team page. Are they hiding something or is there more to the story.

And of course, by "suspended indefinitely", :les: means "He's still starting against E. Popcorn State in September"

Wasn't this guy on his "last straw" about three incidents ago?

So much for being a man of his word.

The whorns were pretty upset with Ryan when he made a late change from saxet to LSU. They blame him for them not having a capable back up to Colt after he went down vs K-State two years ago because they figure other kids didn't sign with them thinking Ryan was going to be the successor to Vinnie. By extension they also blame RP for the two losses to K-State and aTm. So down in Austin they welcome news of Ryans foibles knowing that it could have been their qb being suspended indefinitely.

Given Perrilloux's phenomenal habit of finding his way on to a river boat to play the slots, regardless of his lack of a legal ID and a steady cup of purple drank at his side, I am wondering one thing. Will Brent Mussberga...berguuu...berg..eh-ra...bu (sorry, Harry Carey ref. as yesterday was the anniversary) make some sort of snappy reference to Lester's wacky (dumb) and risky playcalling being not unlike that of a river-boat gambler?

Lesless likes winning to much look at all the player crap that went at OUSucks RP will be back on the team for the start of fall practice. Lesless has no backbone when it comes to this sort of thing, again he's a win all cost Coach.

Having worked with The Advocate in the past, and having always believed it was a newspaper which took journalistic integrity pretty seriously, I'm a bit stunned by the free pass this ********* is being given.

http://www.2theadvocate.com/sports/15791142.html

The article, while purporting to criticize him, spends most of its column inches performing oral man love on the kid -- emphasizing what a survivor he is, how much adversity he's worked through. Adversity which seems to primarily stem from the fact that he's a dumbass, and comes from a slightly retarded family. I mean, 14 year old kid jumps out from around the corner of the house to scare his sister, and her boyfriend shoots him in the chest? It hearkens back to the days when some peckerwood down here blew Yoshi away for trick-or-treating at the wrong house. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yoshihiro_Hattori

While I very much enjoy my adopted home, these people lose their damned minds when it comes to anything Halloween or mask related. They're a bit like the hippopotamus -- seemingly docile, but possessed of an entirely inexplicable hair-trigger panic response which drives them towards insane levels of violence upon the slightest perceived threat.

In other words, say "Boo!" too loud, these mofos will kill your ***.

They do, however, put on a fine spread if you go to the "good" tailgates around Tiger stadium on gameday. Just avoid the fields of white trash which stretch off to the northeast of the stadium. All the good tailgating is right by the stadium, or hidden amongst the oaks in the streets & buildings directly around the stadium.

Sorry for the scattered post. Apparently, I couldn't really pick a theme and stick with it.
