View Full Version : Where does Outlook save your password?

I'm back! But my computer isn't completely back to normal, it had a new HD installed and the old one is on as a slave drive. I can't remember my email password since I had Outlook Express save it. When I try to open Outlook Express from the old drive, it opens the new program, apparently.
Would I be able to access the password file on the old hard drive?
Where would it be stored?

it would probably be easier to just contact your mail provider...

otherwise you are going to have to find the file and use some h4x0r tools or something to break the hash/encryption

Probably right. The last time I tried crap like that......well, I'm still trying to recover from that.
Thanks.

Outlook saves your password in Hell since that is where it spawned from

Well, while you were gone, we figured out that we didn't really need you around here. I've been doing all of the doctoring, and so far NOBODY has died.
