does anyone check that box and have one of their tax dollars go to the Presidential campaign fund?
Nah, I don't want to fund the Paul campaign....

That's basically what my tax preparer told me. He said not to check it. I'm still confused as to why I shouldn't check it.
I always do and I always have. I'm not sure why.

I did that one year, but the choices for the next election still sucked so I don't bother anymore.
If that "donation" doesn't effect your refund or how much you owe, where the hell does the money really come from??

There's no way on God's green earth that any right and normal thinking individual should ever vote in favor, let alone voluntarily donate their money, to a publicly funded campaign.
It's a sure sign of insanity and a sure sign you have no business voting!

that's part of my confusion. I think if you paid a total of $100 in taxes and you check that box you still pay a total of $100 but a Katrina family doesn't get to eat.
This year I'm going to check yes again but with the stipulation that my $3 goes towards a pack of Kool's for Obama.
