Who get's the lawn mowed?

I'm thinking about hiring my yard work out this summer. I genuinely hate doing it and I think I would be willing to part with $40 a week to have someone else do it.

What all do you guys have your lawn service do? Is $40 realistic for a smallish type lot in a historic neighborhood in OKC?

I dunno. Doleo used to do our yard but then didn't have time anymore and Petro was doing it. I DO have a guy come spray the yard though.

I have a guy mow mine this year. He came by and raked leaves and gave the dead grass a trim already. For me it's money well spent and my yard won't get shaggy when I'm gone 30 days. The last thing I wanted to do when I got home was mow the yard.

This guy charges me $30 and I have about 40sf of front yard and a decent sized backyard.

I absolutely hate mowing. The only worse is weedeating. So, I only did it 5 times last year.

I pay $140/month for weekly lawn service. I don't mind the mowing, but I really dont miss edging and weeding the shrub beds.

This will be my first summer with him so I don't know how often he will mow it. Maybe every two weeks. he does the house across the street too.

but make sure that they mow their parents' yard. I tried to hire the neighbor kid last year but he couldn't even mow his own yard much less mine.

I have a guy that goes out and mows out at the double wide. I have him come out every two weeks and pay him 35 bucks.

Well worth it because my yard is big.

I actually like mowing. I hop on my new cub cadet and get it done. Weed eating isn't the funnest thing in the world, but you gotta do what you gotta do.

We used to have folks come and spray the yard when we live in Pokeville, but haven't set that up here yet.
