Sauerkraut sucks.

In fact, it succs.

Weinkraut, however, is not bad. The wine and apples and baking tends to take the suckitude out of the kraut.

One of the worst decisions of my life was to go ahead and get saurkraut for the extra 25 cents on the 99 cent 1/2 pound hot dog at Slots O' Fun in Vegas at 3am. It made a horrendous hot dog worse by being horrendous itself.

My dad was in grade school during WW2 and said all they had for lunch every single day was wiennies and sauerkraut, due to food rationing and whatnot.

To this day I have never seen him eat a hot dog, a corn dog, and I never had anything sauerkraut related when I was a kid. He hates those two foods. No wiennies, no sauerkraut.

I can take sauerkraut on a good reuben sandwich, but I am refined and sophisticated.
