Jake Shields is moving to Middleweight. They announced it last night on one of the two shows that airs on Fuel TV on Tuesday nights. I think this is a better division for him in the UFC.

Hector Lombard has signed on with the UFC. This is a huge get for the UFC. Lombard has been the middleweight champion in Bellator for a long time.

Yikes. Yeah that was a pretty solid card they put together. Maybe attribute it to Cinco de Mayo and everyone was out drinking instead of watching the fights. Most likely though, the Mayweather fight being on the same night, also probably hurt their numbers.

Thought there were a lot of great fights that whole night. Lawrence had that awesome KO kick to the jaw against Cofer. Lawrence has a very bright future in the UFC. Proctor looked good against Larsen. Upset that Brookins lost.

Frank Mir will fight Daniel Cormier in Strikeforce in late October. Showtime wanted to have one more heavyweight fight with the winner of their heavyweight tournament. I did not think they would get a name as big as Mir though. I think Cormier will win, but it should be a good fight. I believe this will be the last heavyweight fight in Strikeforce.

people dont give GSP enough credit, Yes Silva is bigger, stronger, faster but that doesnt always equate in fighting. GSP could take him down IMO and he is so tactically strong that I think he could frustrate Silva...JMHO

I thought it was a really good main event last night. I hope GSP does not fight Anderson Silva next. He showed a lot of ring rust last night. I don't think the GSP of old would have gotten caught with the kick that he got caught with in the third round last night. I still was happy that he was able to come back and fight well and win.

Pretty good title match last night on Fox. Really thought Dodson was going to get the title after had dropped Johnson a few times in that second round. Dodson just didn't really do much to attack him after those knockdowns and let Johnson regain himself. Johnson definitely deserved the win. Would like to see these two fight again.

The Rampage fight was just sad. Does he have any more fights left to fulfill his contract to the UFC? He was once a great fighter, but he seems like he's just there to collect a check now. Seems totally uninspired and gets gassed really quick. He needs to hang em up.

I was surprised that Condit was able to stop Kampmann. I did expect Condit to win though. It looks like there will be a lot of Wednesday night cards through 2014. That was one of the selling points that the UFC had for Fox Sports 1 when the launch was announced.

I followed it online and every "online judge" that was scoring had it 3-2 Jones. It was a battle, both guys had to go to the hospital after the fight. Those type of fights are what the UFC needs to take that next step, this could become a huge rivalry for the next several years
