So I started out my night at TGIF by Grand Central Terminal, not because that's such a great place to hang out, but the bartender does me right and I get tired of being raped for drinks up here. I was there for a couple of hours and my tab was around $13, minus tip.

Then I went to my local at 40th & 9th. Had to talk to the owner about an assault case he's facing next week stemming from a drunk he threw out who took a swing at him and ended up being carted off in an ambulance. It's a sticky situation because his name isn't on any of the paperwork for the bar and he doesn't have the security license you need here to work as a bouncer. He was kinda busy when I was there, so I only stayed for a beer while I talked to Danny who, near as I can tell, is either a pimp or a drug dealer. Either way, he dresses sharp and I love the gold teeth.

Then I picked up some tallboys and came home. Am I keeping up enough?
