I think you have to eat non-zombies to technically be a zombie.

And are we talking slow, shambling zombies or fast, hyper-aggressive zombies? For me, the slow, shambling type are much creepier because they are always presented in such a way that they just overwhelm you.

I'm kind of torn on the issue. There is something creepy about the slower zombies because you're basically just biding your time until you screw up so there is a lot of tension. On the other hand, there is something terrifying about seeing those things come flying at you like an animal.

I hope zombies aren't the new pirates.

Well, ok, a lot of pirates ARE kind of grudy, but becoming a pirate is basically just grabbing a cutlass and shouting "yar!" a few times.
