Pho is the best food ever.

Discuss.

BigRedJed

Disagree.

BigRedJed
2/5/2008, 07:11 PM
Not that I dislike pho.

BigRedJed
2/5/2008, 07:11 PM
Of course, it depends where it comes from.

BigRedJed
2/5/2008, 07:11 PM
There's a place on 23rd that does a pretty good job with it.

BigRedJed
2/5/2008, 07:11 PM
But I really prefer Lido.

BigRedJed
2/5/2008, 07:12 PM
Or do I? Let me think for a minute.

BigRedJed
2/5/2008, 07:12 PM
Yep, definitely Lido.

BigRedJed
2/5/2008, 07:12 PM
Of course, when I eat at Lido, I generally don't get pho.

BigRedJed
2/5/2008, 07:12 PM
Weird.

BigRedJed
2/5/2008, 07:13 PM
Maybe I need to head up there this evening and grab some.

BigRedJed
2/5/2008, 07:13 PM
Nah, I think I'll pass on doing that this evening.

BigRedJed
2/5/2008, 07:13 PM
Maybe tomorrow?

BigRedJed
2/5/2008, 07:14 PM
I'll have to think about that one and get back to everybody.

BigRedJed
2/5/2008, 07:14 PM
Hope that helps.

no flood control for mods?

I like Mr. Pho. It's a nice combo of authentic and clean.

I would eat Pho every night if the wife would let me.

I thought you wanted me to discuss stuff?

i think he meant discuss it with other people...but then again he was pretty vague

BigRedJed
2/5/2008, 07:32 PM
Andy, I hate to break it to you, but after I stopped discussing stuff in your thread, it pretty much died.

OCUDad

It was dead before you entered it. Which makes you pretty much a necroposter. ;)

the best food ever. rice noodles in a big bowl of beef broth. topped with onions, green onions, celantro and various types of beef. then you can add bean sprouts, jalapenos, lime juice, chili paste to your liking.

it really is great. it fills you up and warms you up. it is good for you, relatively speaking, and even though it's simple, if all of the ingredients are fresh and good quality it's about as good as it gets.

Mjcpr

So, it's Thai? Or what?

BigRedJed
2/5/2008, 08:18 PM
Vietnamese.

BigRedJed
2/5/2008, 08:18 PM
Oh, sorry Andy. I forgot you didn't want me posting anymore. :O

Mjcpr

I thought I was pretty brave to enter a Thai restaurant, I may have to build up the courage for Vietnamese.

Some of them are surprisingly good. And you might be surprised at how many places in Oklahoma that you think are Chinese are actually Vietnamese serving "Chinese" specialties.

DAMMIT!!

BigRedJed
2/5/2008, 08:22 PM
Sorry Andy.

What the pho is going on here?

OUAndy1807

for anyone wishing to try Pho, I would recommend Mr. Pho next to the big Asian grocery store on Classen (behind Lido and across the street from Grand House) It's a nice mix of being authentic food-wise, while not being disgusting like most Pho places are. Also, they have good other food on the menu if you have a spouse that would rather have chicken fried rice.

Don't discuss pho's sexuality in a derogatory manner or Mike will delete it.

That is all.
