Arkansas technology has failed - big surprise there.

Fox 24 out of NW Arkansas, which is also the feed we get in SE Oklahoma, has lost the signal. So for now, no Super Bowl here.

Not on Suddenlink, which is what we have to live with in Poteau.

(Posting so Rogue won't think he's the only one watching the game)

I'd felt sorry for Brady until I remembered he will be sleeping with Gisele tonight whether he wins or loses.............. in which case I guess he wins.

Giants are the better team so far.
Oh, well, 18-1 isn't such a bad season.

19-0 plus a ring for Junior Seau and Wes Welker would've been cool, but I can live with the Giants taking it to them and getting a ring for Strahan.

Wonder what Shockey was thinking on the sidelines . . .

Wanted the Pats to win just for the sake of seeing History but Im happy for Eli...I have always thought the guy gets a bad rap and his stats are pretty distorted by the amazing amount of drops his Wr's have had the past several seasons. Too bad for Welker because he would have been MVP if the Pats had won, but this is why the Playoffs have it right!!!

As for the commentating. All season long I was impressed with Troy Aikman. Early in the season, I didn't realize it was him. And I was surprised. I think he has improved since he's been in the booth. IMO...

I'm a mediocre Pat's fan and wanted them to win but the Giants played a great game. It was one of the most enjoyable Super Bowls I have ever experienced. I was at my local hangout with 90% of the crowd rooting for the Pat's, very few of them were devastated by the result, they understand what the Pat's have accomplished this year and know a great game when they see one. Congrats to the Giants and the Pat's, the Pat's re-wrote a lot of the record book this year. The Pat's will be remembered as one of the greatest teams in history, only time will tell if they come out as the very best.

Again, congratulations to the Giants!

It's crazy how well and consistent Eli has played his last 4 games or so. I've developed a lot of respect for him late this season. I've never really cared for the guy, and I gave him no chance vs. Green Bay, and was dead wrong with that thought. After the way they have been playing, I thought the giants could win this one, but I wasn't certain. The way he escaped a few pressure situations last night and still stepped up and threw nice passes was pretty impressive. Props to Eli for finally finding his groove and props to the Giants. You could really tell they wanted it more.

Sooner_Bob
2/4/2008, 12:53 PM
