Try cooking it in Soylent Green. I hear that stuff is really tasty

why cook it? You can eat it raw.... Otherwise, steam it for a short duration.

roast sliced almonds in the oven and steam broccoli until tender, toss both with olive oil and lemon juice.

or lightly saute golden the almonds in butter, and then toss steamed broc with lemon juice in skillet.

Or, deep fry it in a beer batter, then serve with a lard gravey.

Steam it 9 minutes. More if you like it limp/mushy.

A quick stir fry with some carrots? Still count as healthy?

Lemon & low sodium soy post cooking.

Yup, steam or boil, and add s&p and lemon juice. Or, my favorite, lemon pepper. Don't overcook the broccoli! It's dense enough that it will continue to cook a little when you remove it from the heat.

I have a Seminole friend who puts broccoli in his spaghetti sauce. I was outraged at first, but it's not bad really.

Not for the faint of heart, but healthy and spicy favorite in Soonerloyal's Land:

Devil Dog Broccoli

Separate broccoli florets into medium-size bites, about one and a half inch pieces. Wash and drain on paper towels.

In a medium skillet, drizzle garlic oil (or canola oil) and add one tablespoon butter (butter is optional). On medium-low heat, saute 2-3 T. minced garlic for two minutes; add broccoli. Turn heat to medium. Sprinkle broccoli liberally with garlic powder, and salt & pepper to taste. Squeeze juice of half a lemon onto broccoli and toss to coat. Broccoli should be crisp-tender. Just before taking out of pan to serve, sprinkle with finely-grated fresh parmesan cheese and toss well to coat. For Broccoli from Hell, aka Iraqi Summer, add 2 t. red pepper flakes the same time as lemon juice.

Very intense, quite healthy and damn good.

Unless you like it smothered in butter, I may not be able to help.
