no, he is the nephew of butch trucks.


he is also the great nephew of virgil trucks who tossed 2 no-hitters for the tigers back in the 50's. virgil is my dad's first cousin.

so that practically makes me an honorary allman.

Many Southern Rock bands had two drummers....

Of course, pretty much all of what comprises "Southern Rock" would now be classified as country.

I've always admired Southern Rock band's ability to say **** it, we need two drummers, three guitarists, 6 back-up singers, etc.
