start taking cold showers (for reasons other than men usually do). honestly, it helps getting ready for the shock to the system. when you think you can't go another minute, stay in for another 15. after that 15 mintues, stay in another 5. just remember, cold is just a state of mind.

as for the survival training, learn to cheat.

Is the latter part in regards to the box that I'm supposed to not know about?

Did you ever see the episode of Gomer Pyle where he and Sargeant Carter had to do survival training? Watch and learn.

my cousin, an A-10 driver, is a by the book rules are there for a reason kinda guy. When he went and had to get in the box they told him that he had to stand up the entire time. he did. later when talking about it with his classmates he found out that everyone else found a way to kinda sit down.

just start hitting yourself with a sock full of nickels and then watch Cavemen over and over. If you can take that, you can do anything.

Cold is a state of mind...and then you die from hypothermia and frostbite.

I'm already stocking up on thermal undies and hand/feet warmers.

Do not eat the bunny's eyeball. It's gross.

Other than that, I suspect the most difficult part for you will be no cell phone for the week in the woods.

I once survived a whole week on one bag of Doritos and a bottle of salsa.Does that count as survival training?
