I am an hour south of Raleigh. I don't think there are really any bad areas up there. I doubt the organization you're going with is gonna plop you down in a ****hole, like say, a Motel 6.

Mrs. VJ and I were up there a couple of weeks ago and ate at a Bonefish Grille in Cary. It was full of yuppies.

Seriously, we went up there a few times when we lived in FayetteNam. Nice town.
