Let's say for ****s and giggles that she wins the GE. Would she make him Secretary of State? Sitting around the White House getting smokers is so passe, I would think he'd want to be more productive. Nothing stopping him from accepting a cabinet position is there?

My guess is she'd make certain he keeps busy with his humanitarian and environmental causes (Asian tsunami relief, Katrina relief, climate change initiative, etc.). That would get him as far away from the White House as possible.

Would she make him Secretary of State?

Before reading the thread itself this is the thought I had. As much as I hate the thought of a Hillary presidency, and as much as I disliked the Slick Willie presidency, I'm not sure he wouldn't be a good Secretary of State. I mean he was able to schmoooze the American people, why couldn't he do it to people and leaders in other countries?

I'm sure Cheney will loan her the hurricane machine.

Could Bill replace Hillary as Senator from New York? I think that would be tons of fun.

He could be Ambassador to Holland and go live in Amsterdam.

Actually, if the dems get up to 60 in the Senate, I could see this happening.

Not Secretary of State, but will take on special assignments in the international arena. My guess.

Hasn't she already used up all of her freebies or do they renew with each term?

Wasn't he disbarred?

I wasn't ever planning to vote for Hillary.

But, the possibility of Bill on the Supreme Court has now swayed my vote. The constitution according to Bill would totally rock my face off.

Besides that, I thought that Supreme Court appointees didn't have to be lawyers.

Because the Constitution does not set forth any qualifications for service as a Justice, the President may nominate anyone to serve. However, that person must receive the confirmation of the Senate, meaning that a majority of that body must find that person to be a suitable candidate for a lifetime appointment on the nation's highest court.

Doesn't Matter

He would be the first impeached president to also serve as First Lady, and Supreme Court Justice at the same time. It's likely he would remain the only one ever, even if the country never ceases to exist.

If Senator Clinton wins the nomination, you can be sure the pub machine will try to convince the pub-lick that she'll appoint her husband to the Supreme court....

about as likely as Romney legalizing polygamy.

Maybe she'll make him president of Hallmark greeting cards?
