Sadly, I have too many tattoos and too many gauged piercings to be the 'girl next door.'
Its a sports bar, so they have EVERY single game, UFC fight, boxing match, blah blah blah... live bands, etc etc etc.
The hours WILL suck, but I think I will have fun and make some money.

Pfffft. That was just a well fitted dress. Plus I was still living in Brenham at school, so I weighed a lot more. Ive been so sick lately that Ive lost a lot of weight. I weigh close to 100 pounds now. DEFINITELY no room to have a great chest.

Its a regular ear piercing that you work a tapered object through to stretch the piercing, making it larger. I have 4 holes guaged in my ears and I have my belly button guaged.

We just had a Twin Peaks restaurant (http://www.twinpeaksrestaurant.com/) open up in an old Rockfish location. I guess it is another Hooter's type concept.
The restaurant business can be fun if you're young (which you are), it is like an alternate universe. I had a bunch of friends who loved it until they figured out what they finally wanted to do...of course some probably still haven't found that yet. Good luck with the new job.

What happens when a person grows into adulthood and decides he or she wants to appear normal? Or get non-minimum wage employment that does not involve wearing a shirt with a nametag? Do those holes close up, or does it require surgery to correct?

I kinda remember a thread a while back where I kind of lambasted Melo about the tats and piercings. Of course in that thread she claimed she just liked hanging around with those people and would never do that stupid **** to herself. I kinda remember saying "Melo, if you keep hanging around those people you're gonna be all screwed, blued, and tattooed and look like the rest of those losers."
Alas, I am sadly prophetic. It does my heart no good to see the maiming you've done to yourself Melo. Some day (and the day will come you can be assured) you are going to be so regretful and sorry you ever even thought about making African tribal skin loops out of your ears. The holes close up. Its when you go bigger than an inch or so that you require surgery.
The pictures arent intended to be shocking, either. I dont do any of that to shock anyone. Its just what I like. If that makes me weird, or a freak, then whatever. Im not too worried about it. Im not trying to impress anyone. And my boyfriend thinks I am beautiful, and thats awesome enough for me.
As far as a job is concerned, I havent worked for min. wage in years. The job I have now is $30 an hour, plus what I make at the bar. I think I am doing well for myself.

heh. I have an Finance degree that I don't use. I went back and got my Accounting degree, because I didn't know what I wanted to do after I graduated the first time and that's what I've been doing ever since.
Met an OU grad on match.com with a French degree and she was working at the AOL call center as a customer support rep 3 years after graduating.
My boss at a RE management company I used to work for has a philosophy degree and makes 80K while doing nothing associated with philosophy.

I used to work in-house at an energy company in Houston that tended to be pretty conservative. I'd see this guy there who had guaged piercings, sleeve tats, etc., an overall appearance that sort of stands out in Houston generally, and in a Houston corporate office, particularly. I always sort of wondered how he got a job there, but I'd see him in the elevator surrounded by the suits who seemed very keen to hear what he had to say. I found out later that he was some IT Sooper Genius from Berkely who had been lured to Houston with wads of cash. You never know.
