Maybe they'll play in the BOK Center and we'll have the first domed minor league facility!!

Well, since you seem to think that EVERYTHING in downtown is "by the jail", I don't think they're going to be able to grant your wish.

Ooh, I know! Let's put it in Brookside!!!

East Village = East side of parking lots where some noticeable buildings still stand.

Sweet, then Tuba can't complain about not having enough parking nearby.

I think the so called east villiage is somewhere between 4th and 6th on the west side of US-75.

I think we're the only two people in all of Tulsa that likes the stadium where it is now.

The only reason you like it where it is is so you can stumble home after "Thirsty Thursdays".

Actually, that is the perfect spot for it cause that is where some of the bars are and such.

Unlike the half a billion dollar arena we are building.

Man, that would be really good move for T-town, if they can get it done. Their slogan should be "anywhere but Jenks."

Still with this? Seriously?

The arena was built where it is for the sake of visibility from the highway. Common sense.

Darn, I was hoping for a revitalized Northland Shopping Center, by building the stadium there, next to the former Frugs!

At least there will still be a team in the Tulsa area. Wish Fort Smith could get a minor league team, even if it's an independent one. Too bad we don't have a minor-league quality park, though. The best baseball park in town, Hunts Park, is a place where you just poke a ball down the line in left and it goes for a home run, but you hit a shot to center that lands into the football stands (yes, it also serves as a football stadium for youth league teams), it's called a ground-rule double. And the fence goes even further in right center and right; in the games I've seen there, I've never seen anybody hit a home run other than left or left center.

$200,000,000.00 Stadium -- Build it and they will come (or stay) until a better deal comes along. My take? Fuggitaboutit, Let the pro teams eat their old overpriced toenails. Watch amateur (high school & college) ball. They're f***king games people. They aren't worth $100 or more to watch.
