We're getting close to another Super Bowl, so I thought I'd pose this question.

Amazingly, the greatest football team to ever step on a gridiron has NEVER won a Super Bowl Championship. Who is this team?

I really think 1978 was the best OU team and best college team of all-time...even though we lost 1 game after fumbling 13 times...

Great team. Yes, 6 fumbles and lose by 3 AT Lincoln. The entire 70's were great teams.

1956 New York Giants; 1941 and 1946 Chicago Bears; 2000 OU (stats, can't argue with stats); 2004 OU (more of a best team, in the NCAA, not to win a BCS bowl); 1995 Nebraska

I'll take the 2003 Sooner version against any other team, any day. Regardless of what happened in the Big12 CG or Sugar Bowl.

Ehhhhh....the '76 squad, quarterbacked by Dean Blevins, was no great shakes.tHOMAS lOTT WAs the starter from the UT game on.Blevins missed '76 UT game because of the clap or so the rumor goes.He was never able to win the job back.
