It's rare I'll spend money on something like this, but if somebody worth a crap around here will vouch for it I might consider it.

My sons bought a psp with some Christmas money and I'd like to help them expand games/movies/???? as reasonably as I can.

I'd give you my opinion, but you had to add the "worth a crap" thingy in your post.

So you pay a one-time fee to download games for free that Sony is still selling in stores?

I'm not on the cutting edge of this.

I know they have games. They have movies. They have music.

With membership, they offer all software needed to play all types of games, from other formats, like NES or PS1, etc.

Whether brand spanking new games are available I don't know.

It does have Madden 08 listed as the #2 game on it's main page.

Based on what they're offering, I suspect that they are engaged in mass copyright infringement.

If I'm correct, for your trouble, you get to download a bunch of illegally copied ROMs and movies with BitTorrent, with the added bonus of getting your name and account information registered with a "business" that is likely to be on the wrong end of a law enforcement raid. If that happens, expect to be sued by the copyright holders in short order.
