Found this somewhere.

Donors may contribute $2,300 each per candidate per election, meaning each individual donor can give $2,300 for the primary campaign and another $2,300 for the general election.

I honestly couldn't give less of a **** about someone's personal/political life as it relates to whether or not I'll see them in a movie or a TV show. In fact if Mel Gibson and Michael Richards starred in a movie produced by Rosie O'Donnell and directed by Roman Polanski, I'd go see if it the story interested me. I can totally separate their work from their personal life.

Me, too. Of course, I don't pay any attention to politics one way or the other.

We've been donating to those actors/actresses for years through our movie tickets & DVD/VHS rentals.

So in a way....we're donating to the very same candidates.

What's the deal, though? Is that a tax free zone or something?
