I pulled this off another forum (which is behind a password, otherwise I'd just link it). It's a detailed list of the various uniform combinations used this season. Just thought it was sorta interesting to see who stuck with traditional home/road sets and who gimmicked it up...

Numbers represent week worn. Abbreviations are in parentheses for each school and vary from some common abbreviations for the sake of clarity. Color names come from the Official 2007 NCAA Division I Football Records Book. Combinations are listed as Helmet/Jersey/Pants. Asterisks represent games played at sites other than home fields.

Wow! OU and KState had only 2 uniforms. Genius in the minimalization sort of way!

So I guess Baylor, Tech and Mizzou are the closest thing the Big 12 has to Oregon... interesting.

Good find, btw!

texas tech just ran out of combinations. They might add a color next year so they can have more uniform choices.

Tech didn't wear scarlet pants with a black jersey, and didn't wear black pants with a scarlet jersey. After that, yeah, it would take going to a scarlet, or possibly white, helmet to expand their combinations.

Oregon, with three helmets, has a long way to go before the exhaust their *cough, hack, gasp, cough* potential...

Has OU ever went all crimson? If so when? I vaguely remember something in the 80s.

I defy you to look at our uniforms and seriously compare them with Oregon.

He was talking about the number of uniform combinations, although no one in the country comes even close to Oregon in that regard, either.

Both have green in them.
Both sometimes wear green helmets
Both sometimes wear a shade of gold/yellow helmets
Both sometimes wear green pantaloons.
Both sometimes wear white jerseys.

Yep.. looks like a match to me! :D

Yea, after the way DKR told people there that he didn't want them to "candy up" his players work clothes, I don't think Texas will ever go too far out there! :D

I don't remember the exact quote, but definently reminds me he was an okie every time I see/hear it quoted.

I have never been a big fan of the home game uni-colored uniform (is the use of a double uni gramatically correct?). The two examples that stick in my mind are the Tech black/black and the State orange/orange. Such combinations are, in a word, UGLY!

See, we have several different combinations but they come from the same consistent ingredients. Oregon has a different style of pants, helmet, jersey, etc. for every one of those combos.

We've got a solid green jersey, white jersey, white pants, gold pants, green helmet, and gold helmet.

yup and don't forget the full time wardrobe coach at oregon, some kind of assistant, that coordinates all those combos so the kiddies all show up at the game looking uniform..
