That'll learn the kid.

It reminds me of that outstanding movie Say It Isn't So with the memorable line:

Yeah, that's right, or we'll tie you to a tree, f*** you in the a** while we j*** you off. Show you what we really do to perverts around here.

:eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:

Was I the only one who read it and thought it was an account of Saturday nights at SicEm's house? ;)

Well, we've got age differences between the participants of 10 years and 14 years, right?

At first, I thought of you, and then realized that, well, the age differences are only 10 and 14 years.

When the stepson was arrested, the man warned his wife not to get the teenager out of jail. She posted bond for the teen's release. When he called home Jan. 3 after getting released, the father took the call and picked him up, police said.

mom isn't very smart

it's a little hard to feel sympathy for the 18 year old "victim" here

i wonder how a Texas jury will feel about this case

I'm all for law and order and discouraging vigiliante justice as a rule.

But as a father of a 5 year old girl, I can understand why he did it. I'll bet the dad gets less than half the punishment that the 18 year old will get.

And the Mom is an idiot, too.

IMO, he took it easy on him. I would have taken some hedge trimmers and....

You really have to wonder at the intelligence of the kid for even going with the stepfather in the first place.

Not very smart, IMO

I have a daughter. I would vote the dad not guilty at trial.

I'd make him a Judge.

I wonder if the "metal instrument" dad used was my current favorite hand tool, the Stanley FUBAR:

I have three. One for each vehicle, and one I keep in the house because you never know when a Pop Tart will get stuck in the toaster or you will get something stuck in your teeth.

1. Why did the wife bail out the kid?

2. Don't blame the step father for the beat down, perhaps his choice of other punishment, then again it was his daughter.

3. I'd divorce the wife.

4. Not sure if a FTW jury would convict.

If I'm called to jury duty...the dad will have a VERY short sentence.

I don't like the way he did it, but as a father to a daughter, I understand why. Hopefully he'll get probation or something light while the stepson gets 50 years in gen pop.
