My questions are:
1. Who is this?
2. What team is this?

I've wondered that myself. The funny thing is that that image has been used on TV ads for at least 10 years if not much longer. I'm not sure what it is about that image but if you look around you'll see it often. (And, by the way, I live in DC so it is not just a regional thing.)

number on the sleeve appears to be different than the one on the front.

Looks like the old Mizzou colors. I mean they are the same Black and Gold but mizzou is more of a Vegas Gold now rather than the old mustard gold.

Tony Casillas?

I looked at the categories on the left side and just had to click on "Funeral."

Check out The Lady of Guadalupe Casket:

I dunno...just thinking....when a loved one croaks, Costco isn't the first place that comes to mind for burial needs...

I have no love for my grandfather.

I'd put him in one of those for the funeral, return it afterward, and drop him in a hole.

I'm not joking. The dude is an a-hole.

You couldn't buy it in Oklahoma anyway, ALL caskets have to be sold by state licensed funeral home, you can't even make your own pine box and use it. You can thank the funeral home lobby for that wonderful law.

The hell I can't. And if they wanted to stop me they'd have to dig up about 120 acres outside of Atoka to find it. ;)

It could be Paul Migliazzo (42) & Boz (on the righthand side) against UCLA circa 1986.

I think that white might be a collar pad, not the helmet color.

That picture was on the box of the old VCR College Football game. My buddies and I thought it was pretty dang cool back in the day. We always assumed it was Missouri, as well.

With the help of one of our most historically aware posters, I've come to the conclusion that it's from the '82 Missouri game.

This photo of Jeff Hostetler

http://www.msnsportsnet.com/content/JeffHostetler82.JPG

is from the '82 WVU game and you can see that his numbers are outlined in gold. The numbers in the ad are not. In 82, Missouri had names on the back of their jerseys, but it makes sense that they would edit that out of the picture. It doesn't make as much sense that they would edit out the outline around the numbers.
