It will be interesting to see how the Omaha dealerships operate compared to their Lincoln and surrounding area counterparts.

Don't know if you're a VW fan, but their '08 line is awesome.

I've been thinking about the Dodge Avenger and the new Chevy Malibu.

Man, I wish the Malibu had a less gay name.

Hertz gave me a Malibu when I was in SoCal last month. I give it a rating of blah. Everything worked okay but there was nothing I can say was outstanding about it, except the complimentary NeverLost (not that that helps you any). A couple of months earlier in Vegas I rented a Chrysler 300C / Hemi on the cheap, courtesy of a Thrifty "Wild Car" deal... nice ride. Not much on economy but it drove and felt like an actual car.

Camry's are great cars. We had a '98 Camry, it was great on mpg...good for traveling, and the only thing we had to have done on it is we had a new timing belt put on. Which is pretty common for Toyotas. I never should've gotten rid of ours. If I could afford a new vehicle right now, that's what I'd get.

I just bought a used Saturn SC-2. (traded my truck in for it)
Anyone familiar with those?? Seems to be a good running/quality vehicle so far. And I read good reviews on them somewhere online.

I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of dealers today. Should make the process go smoothly.

You should pay cash for a good used car.
