The number is part of a bizarre equation involving post count, reputation, how long you've been registered, the angle formed between mercury and the sun, and the alcoholic content of the Thing in Norm's Leg.

I think Beano was wasted when he came up with the formula and he can't figure out how to undo it when he's sober.
